We're seeking talented and enthusiastic Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager with experience improving process integrity. The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager position is a pivotal position with the priority of successfully evaluating new and existing processes and configuring automation systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability, and develop best practices within processes throughout the supply chain. Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Responsible for leading and developing the AME-Automation Design team, including directing, coordinating and exercising authority for planning, organization, leadership, and completion of projects.
- Collaborate with internal and external clients to capture, refine, and translate requirements into functional automation solutions.
- Lead and manage multiple concurrent automation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.
- Oversee all project concepts, designs, business cases, logbooks, resource planning, documentation, and implementation.
- Follow-up on permanent corrective action plans to resolve any outstanding issues related to quality, production, equipment, tooling, customers, and production controls.
- Define the strategic direction and roadmap for automation design, leveraging emerging technologies like AI/ML, computational design, and generative design.
- Responsible for resolving design issues, escalated issues, and supports in the coordination with other departments.
- Develop and implement policies, establish best practices, processes, and standards in automation design and engineering.
- Monitors progress against project schedules and budgets; recommends allocation of resources as required to accomplish goals.
- Responsible for reviewing machine capacity models and providing recommendations/solutions for capacity shortfalls.
- Monthly reporting of departmental KPI metrics.
- Lead and participate in team events to improve ABL processes.
Skills and Minimum Experience Required

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Engineering and/or Engineering Technology or equivalent field.

5+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry.

3+ years management experience preferred, with technical leadership skills for problem solving and conflict resolution.
