Program Overview

Are you a motivated and talented individual seeking an opportunity to excel and grow into a dynamic leader? Look no further than the Acuity Internship Program!

 

The Acuity Internship Program offers a 10–12-week immersive experience (May – August, 40 hours/week) designed to cultivate high-potential candidates through hands-on projects and real-world experiences, interns will align their strengths and interests with the strategic needs of the business.

 

In addition to contributing to impactful projects and transformative processes, interns will have the chance to network with leaders across Acuity.

 

We prefer interns who have one or two semesters remaining in their degree program, as they will be eligible for our Leadership Program upon completing the internship. Our Leadership Program is a full-time, entry-level rotational program that allows recent graduates to explore various areas within a functional domain. These experiences enable young talent to expand their skill set, build their network within the company, and discover their passions early in their careers.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

While specific projects and activities may vary, you can expect to: 

  • Support our Corporate Marketing and Communications operations and key projects tied to social media and internal communications, plus possible engagement with local events when needed 
  • Develop social media copy 
  • Assist with associate engagement / ERG or other event activities 
  • Assist with Corporate Marketing Events where needed which may include marketing support, on-site assistance and project planning  
  • Support the design and outline of internal communications, town halls and other initiatives 
  • Assist with EarthLIGHT Report photo gather and information organization in preparation for annual launch in the fall 
  • Conduct analysis of internal communication and social media performance to capture best practices 
  • Assist in capturing process updates to share with business partners 

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

  • Relevant internship or project experience 

  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Proven problem-solving capabilities 

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills 

  • Experience leading teams or organizations 

  • Sedentary Work

  • Some College required 

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. 

 

Travel Requirements 1-20% 

The range for this position is $36,000.00 to $64,800.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
