Job Summary

Acuity is embarking on a multi-year enterprise transformation to modernize its core financial business processes, platforms, and data flows including standardizing the chart of accounts, modernizing and simplifying core business processes, and migrating from legacy on-premise Oracle E-Business Suite and Syteline to Oracle Fusion Cloud. We are seeking a Director, Oracle Fusion Finance Transformation to lead this global program, driving overall execution, governance and change management working across business and technology.   

This role serves as the senior business and technology leader responsible for end-to end program delivery, ensuring cross-functional alignment, managing dependencies across business segments, and maintaining momentum toward key transformation milestones. This position offers the opportunity to lead a large-scale, complex transformation that will redefine how our company operates across North America, Europe, and Asia. Success will require strong program leadership, disciplined execution, effective change management, and partnership with global stakeholders and system integrators to deliver sustainable business value.  This role will report into the Transformation Office.  

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Own and Manage the Finance Transformation Program:  Actively lead the planning, execution, and management of the Finance platform transformation with an implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud and migration across all business units and functional areas.  Manage a large cross functional team to deliver on complex end to end Fusion Cloud deployment.  Drive the problem-solving and decision making around operational and technology choices, informed by implications for processes, data and policies 
  • Program Governance and Structure: Establish and maintain the program governance model, including steering committee reporting, program management office (PMO) oversight, issue/risk management, change control, and resource alignment 
  • Stakeholder Management and Cross-Functional Leadership: Drive collaboration across Finance, Operations, Technology, HR, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to ensure coordinated decision-making, alignment and execution 
  • Vendor and Partner Management: Manage relationships with external partners, system integrators, and Oracle representatives to ensure deliverables meet expectations and contractual obligations 
  • Strategic Planning and Roadmapping: Maintain a detailed multi-year transformation roadmap that aligns business priorities, outcomes, technical capabilities, and phased deployment strategies 
  • Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify and manage program risks, develop mitigation plans, escalate critical issues, and drive resolution to avoid disruption to timelines and outcomes 
  • Business Process Transformation: Work with the process owners and functional leaders in defining future-state business processes that maximize the value of the Oracle Fusion platform 
  • Change Management and Communication: Partner with internal communications and change management teams to achieve target state outcomes, drive consistent messaging, stakeholder engagement, and adoption across the organization 
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Define and report on key program success metrics, providing visibility to executive leadership and the Board as appropriate

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

  • Bachelor's Degreerequired; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred 
  • 10 or more years of experience leading large-scale Finance transformation with knowledge of core Finance processes, reporting and data structures 
  • Proven experience leading Oracle ERP implementations and migrations for Finance, preferably Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion with knowledge of key Fusion modules, data structures, out of the box workflows and potential integrations 
  • Strong knowledge of finance and operational processes in global enterprises, with some working knowledge of key dependencies with supply chain and HCM. 
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, global, multi-year transformation and change programs. 
  • Experience managing global system integrators and driving accountability for delivery outcomes. 
  • Experience driving ERP transformation in publicly traded companies with SOX and compliance requirements 
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder alignment capabilities. 
  • Experience driving organizational adoption and operating model change across global teams 
  • Manufacturing, technology and distribution experience preferred

  • Executive Presence and Influence: Ability to present clearly, challenge respectfully, and influence senior executives and cross-functional leaders to drive decision-making. 
  • Resilience and Change Leadership: Skilled at leading organizations through ambiguity, evolving priorities, and large-scale cultural and operational change.

The range for this position is $135,000 to $268,000. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
