Job Summary
Acuity is embarking on a multi‑year transformation to build a next‑generation AI & customer experience product portfolio that powers better decisions for our customers and for our business. We are seeking a Director, Product Management – AI & Business Transformation with a strong finance, analytical, and business background to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of AI & customer experience products that unlock measurable commercial and operational value. In this role, you will own the product vision and multi‑year roadmap for enterprise business transformation in digital commerce, pricing, sales effectiveness, operations, and customer experience. You will translate business and financial objectives into product requirements, partner closely with technology teams to deliver high‑quality AI solutions and ensure adoption through change leadership and value realization. You will collaborate with leaders across ABL and AIS to build AI/ML‑driven insights into our workflows and drive a culture of evidence‑based decision making and responsible AI.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Acuity’s AI & Business transformation aligned to enterprise financial, commercial, and operational objectives.
- Translate business strategies (revenue growth, margin expansion, working capital efficiency) into clear AI enabled product objectives, use cases, and prioritized backlogs.
- Champion a “data and AI‑first” mindset across the organization, articulating how data and AI create business value and competitive advantage.
- Create AI strategy for enterprise entity systems that can be used across various business units.
Data‑Driven Product Management
- Lead discovery and assessment of transformation opportunities, analyzing workflows, customer journeys, and operational processes.
- Partner with Finance, Commercial, Operations, and Digital teams to define success metrics, business cases, and ROI models for enterprise AI initiatives.
- Define, monitor, and optimize product KPIs (adoption, usage, impact on revenue/margin, operational efficiency) and use insights to drive prioritization and impact.

Cross‑Functional Leadership & Delivery
- Lead cross‑functional transformation squads responsible for redesigning processes, deploying AI‑enabled capabilities, and driving organizational adoption across the enterprise.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, IT, Data Engineering, and Data Science to ensure alignment and adoption.
- Ensure dependencies across digital commerce, ERP, CRM, and other core platforms are understood and managed, and AI & product capabilities are integrated into key workflows.
Financial & Business Impact
- Partner with Finance to track realized value vs. business cases, adjust roadmaps accordingly, and communicate impact to senior and executive leadership.
- Support commercial teams with AI‑enabled insights for pricing, customer segmentation, channel optimization, and sales performance.
- Use leading indicators and program‑level metrics to anticipate risks, inform trade‑offs, and enable timely management decisions.

Thought Leadership & Innovation
- Provide thought leadership on how AI driven products can transform customer experience, operations, and business models in industrial technology and intelligent spaces.
- Foster a culture of experimentation and learning, including pilots, proofs‑of‑concept, and rapid test‑and‑learn cycles for AI use cases.
- Advocate for ethical and responsible AI practices, including data privacy, bias mitigation, and transparency.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high‑performing team of product managers and analysts focused on business transformation and AI products.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and career development to build strong product, data literacy, and business acumen capabilities within the team.
- Set clear goals, define operating rhythms, and hold team members accountable for outcomes and value delivery.
Minimum Experience Required
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Technology or a related field
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Ability to define and interpret product and business KPIs and to communicate insights to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, able to translate complex AI & data concepts into clear business narratives and decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities, and drive structured execution from strategy through delivery.
- High learning agility, curiosity about emerging technologies, and commitment to responsible AI and data ethics
Preferred Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in finance, consulting, or related roles preferred
- Background in B2B, industrial, or technology‑driven businesses preferred; experience with digital commerce is a plus.
The range for this position is $173,600.00 to $312,500.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
