Job Summary

The Field Service/Support Engineer is responsible for successfully delivering onsite and remote startup, troubleshooting, training, optimization, and other critical services for digital lighting systems. In addition, this role includes support for internal and external stakeholders that may range from high-levels of knowledge to no knowledge of our products and services. With effective communication at the core of the role, one must communicate ongoing progress, manage expectations, and drive favorable outcomes through multiple communication mediums.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Performs onsite lighting and control startup, troubleshooting and end user training.
• Provides remote technical support for both internal and external stakeholders (such as agents, distributors, electrical contractors, end users, and internal teams) as it pertains to field applications of product.
• Creates and maintains relationships with key stakeholders to provide differentiated service.
• Provides engineering support and communicates cross-functionally with other departments.

Preferred Skills and Experience


Required Education and Experience
• Associate of Engineering
• Trade School Graduate
• 0-2 years of experience
• General computer skills, including but not limited to email, Microsoft Office products, spreadsheets and data entry
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Preferred Experience
• 2-4 Years of Experience
• Working knowledge of lighting control system wired and wireless technology, communication networking, high and low voltage electrical wiring.
• Solid electrical / electronic troubleshooting knowledge

The range for this position is $48,100.00 to $86,500.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
