Job Summary

As a Senior Supply Chain Process Operations Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing financial results for supply chain operations.  You will streamline standard processes and reporting, continually striving for increased efficiency and productivity. Your expertise will directly impact decision-making processes.

You will work within finance but will be exposed to all areas of the business, making this an amazing opportunity for an individual who can analyze data and work cross-functionally. The ideal candidate will have experience providing financial support to a supply chain organization and partnering with Manufacturing, Sourcing, Forecasting, and Logistics.  This is a highly visible role, reporting out ideas and results to Finance leadership and the broader Acuity organization.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Own the Supply Chain month-end close processes related to adjusting entries and accruals, reconciliations, and management reporting.
  • Review monthly results for accuracy and completeness, including the preparation of financial packages, variance analyses, key performance indicators (KPIs), and Metrics that Matter.
  • Develop reporting and analytics based on ERP data and Microsoft Power BI, with the ability to process large amounts of data into concise outputs.
  • Provide financial expertise on cost accounting, inventory, construction in progress tracking, and capital budget maintenance.

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of financial analysis experience, ideally in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, OneStream, and other ERP systems.
  • Broad understanding of US GAAP.

Travel Requirements

  • 10-25% Domestic and International Travel
