Job Summary
As a Senior Forecast Operations Finance Analyst, you will play a critical role in owning and managing focused areas of the monthly forecasts and annual target planning for the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements for our Acuity Brands Lighting (ABL) segment. You will focus on driving business outcomes through understanding business strategies and forecasting sales and sales-related incentives and the investments to deliver the top line and profitability. In this role, you will collaborate across business and finance teams to design, build, and communicate forecasts that drive strategic alignment and timely decision-making.
This role offers exposure across multiple areas of the business, making it an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting sales and product finance teams and a deep understanding of forecasting processes and financial modeling.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Own the monthly modeling and reporting of forecasts for ABL sales, cost of sales, commissions, and operating expenses.
- Support demand reviews and collaborate with sales and product finance professionals to forecast sales and cost of sales.
- Model and manage balance sheet forecasts and consolidate ABL cash flow statements.
- Maintain and manage the ABL capital and operating expenditures roadmap.
- Create and maintain standard work documentation for forecast models.
- Present forecast to team leaders, highlighting key trends and insights.
- Identify and implement process improvements across forecasting and reporting functions.
- Participate in process improvement events with group and matrix partners to drive continuous improvement.
You will make an impact by driving financial clarity and strategic alignment through robust forecasting of sales, commissions, operating expenses, capital expenditures and consolidated financial statements. Skills and Minimum Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 1-3 years of financial analysis experience, ideally in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, OneStream, and other ERP systems.
- Broad understanding of US GAAP.

The range for this position is $80,400.00 to $144,700.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
