Job Summary
The HR Project Manager will oversee and manage largescale Human Resources projects, with an initial focus on enterprise talent initiatives across Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Learning & Development and may be redeployed to other HR initiatives depending on priority needs. Reporting directly to the VP, Enterprise Talent, this role requires a proactive project leader with strong HR functional knowledge, proven project management experience, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to drive alignment and outcomes in a complex, fast paced environment. The ideal candidate takes ownership, demonstrates strong follow through, and applies effective management throughout all phases of a project.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Project Management: Lead and manage large‑scale HR projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
Enterprise Talent Projects: Oversee major cross‑functional talent initiatives (TA, TM, L&D) and ensure seamless coordination across all HR teams and stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with HR COEs, HRBPs, HRIS partners, and business leaders to align objectives, remove roadblocks, drive decisions, and ensure successful outcomes. Facilitate discussions, alignment, and conflict resolution.
Change Management: Develop and execute change management plans—including communications, training, and readiness activities—to support smooth adoption of new processes, tools, or programs.
Process Ownership: Serve as the central point of accountability for assigned initiatives, ensuring clarity of scope, well‑defined timelines, and consistent execution. Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize HR processes.
Risk Management: Identify project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks; develop proactive mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Resource Coordination: Align and support project team members, ensuring they have the information, resources, and clarity needed to deliver milestones.
Reporting: Provide regular updates to HR leadership and key stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, decisions required, and upcoming milestones.
Compliance: Ensure all project work aligns with HR policies, organizational standards, and governance expectations.
Process Improvement Identification: Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through automation, system enhancements, and improved user experience.

Skills and Minimum Experience Required
Proven Experience:
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional HR project teams and drive clarity and accountability.
HR Expertise: Strong understanding of HR processes and the ability to translate business needs into project requirements.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present complex information concisely to stakeholders at all levels.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Ownership: Strong initiative and follow‑through; able to take charge, maintain momentum, and operate with limited direction.
Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in project documentation, planning, and execution.
Change Management: Experience developing and implementing change management strategies to support project success.
Skills:
- Proven experience leading large‑scale HR projects with strong planning, execution, and monitoring capabilities
- Deep understanding of HR processes and HR system impacts, with strong technical acumen for HRIS/IT partnership
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Effective at partnering with cross‑functional teams and senior leaders
- Experience with change‑management methodologies
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical, tactical execution
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience leading HR projects, ideally across multiple HR functions.
Experience with major HR technologies (i.e. SuccessFactors, Workday, UKG, ADP, etc.)

The range for this position is $104,000 to $187,000. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
