Job Summary
The Manager, Finance Operations is responsible for supporting the execution, accuracy, and continuous improvement of financial operations processes, including monthly close reporting and analysis for the Electronics business unit. This role manages a team of analysts or specialists focused on delivering timely, standardized, and scalable support across the finance function. By ensuring the integrity of finance processes and data, the Manager enables Strategic Finance Advisors (SFAs) and Forecast Operations to focus on forward-looking analysis and business decision support. The role requires strong process orientation, task ownership, and collaboration across cross-functional teams in a dynamic, matrixed environment. This is a hybrid position with opportunities for on-site collaboration across our Electronics footprint.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Supports the execution and accuracy of monthly close reporting cycles by reviewing journal entries and financial outputs. Ensures alignment with Finance leadership expectations and data integrity.
- Identifies and implements process improvements in financial operations workflows. Maintains templates and hierarchy structures to support reporting and compliance.
- Supports the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process by coordinating inputs and metrics for monthly forecast cycles and Portfolio Management Reviews (PMRs).
- Manages and coaches a team of finance analysts or specialists. Conducts training, tracks team output, and supports resolution of recurring process challenges.
- Responds to ad hoc financial questions or escalations in coordination with Strategic Finance Advisors or Finance leadership.
Skills and Minimum Experience Required

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent

3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to build trusted partnerships with Strategic Finance Advisors and collaborate effectively across Finance Operations
- Experience managing professional employees and supporting delivery of team goals
- Strong coordination and communication skills for working with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Accounting, Engineering, Operations)
- Ability to interpret and reconcile data discrepancies; apply structure to financial processes
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to continuous improvement and root cause identification
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and business finance systems (e.g., Oracle, OneStream)
- Familiarity with US GAAP and internal control requirements in financial processes
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred

Experience in operational finance or FP&A roles in manufacturing or industrial organizations. Exposure to centralized/shared services teams or financial systems/process optimization preferred
Physical Requirements
Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. The range for this position is $104,200.00 to $225,500.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
