Job Summary

The Omni‑Channel Merchandising Manager is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive merchandising strategies that drive visibility, engagement, and conversion across online and in‑store environments. This role optimizes product content for search performance, manages retailer platform presence, and ensures cohesive merchandising execution in partnership with cross‑functional teams, agencies, and retail partners. The manager leverages data-driven insights, content systems, and planogram tools to enhance product presentation, improve the customer experience, and support successful new item launches both online and in stores.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Digital Content Optimization & Performance Insights: Execute advanced keyword research, SEO/AEO/GEO tactics, and content optimization to improve product discoverability and organic traffic. Use analytics to monitor traffic, search behavior, and conversion metrics, applying insights to continuously refine product page content and usability. Review top-performing category pages to identify gaps and collaborate with cross-functional teams and agencies on timely content updates.
  • OmniChannel Merchandising Strategy: Develop integrated online and in‑store merchandising strategies aligned with category goals, promotions, and visual merchandising standards. Establish category line logic and assortment frameworks tailored to retailer needs, informed by market trends and competitive insights. Leverage customer and performance data to inform category storytelling and seasonal merchandising adjustments.
  • Retail Platform & Content Ecosystem Management: Manage brand presence on retailer platforms, ensuring product descriptions, imagery, and rich media reflect high-quality standards and enhance conversion. Use third‑party content systems and customer portals to maintain product accuracy, monitor reviews/ratings, and update content efficiently. Optimize site navigation, taxonomy, and product/category hierarchy to support a seamless customer journey and boost performance.
  • CrossFunctional Partnership, New Item Launch Support & Operational Excellence: Partner with advertising, creative, product, and retail teams to ensure synchronized omni‑channel execution and aligned messaging. Utilize planogram and space management tools to support new item launches and in‑store merchandising updates. Provide day‑to‑day support to internal teams, agencies, and retailer partners to ensure flawless operational execution across channels.

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of merchandising experience in ecommerce and/or retail environment, with proven responsibility for strategic decision-making.
  • 1+ year of experience navigating and interpreting raw data, consolidating information from multiple sources, and creating clear, accurate reports using Excel or similar software (basic formulas, sorting, filtering, and data organization).
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment on strategy and tactical execution.
  • Strong consultative communication skills across executive and operational levels.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing organizational policy or strategy.

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of merchandising experience in ecommerce and/or retail environment, with proven responsibility for strategic decision-making.

Physical Requirements

  • Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.  Jobs are sedentary if walking or standing is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 25%, domestic

The range for this position is $66,500.00 to $119,700.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
