Job Summary

Mark Architectural Lighting is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution for our linear systems and architectural ambient lighting categories. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in the architectural specification market, a strong understanding of lighting design, and a passion for creating innovative lighting solutions that inspire and enable the design community.

You will be responsible for driving product development, market positioning, and lifecycle management, enabling us to accelerate sales growth, product vitality, and margin improvements across assigned categories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute product strategies for linear systems and architectural ambient lighting solutions.
  • Engage deeply with the lighting design community to understand evolving needs and trends.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the product development lifecycle using phase gates, milestones, and predefined deliverables.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, milestones, and changes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, customer service, sales, and marketing) to support product categories and launches.
  • Deliver compelling product training and presentations to internal teams, channel partners, and customers.
  • Monitor and drive KPIs including phase gate compliance, productivity, margins, quality, ship promise compliance, and sales growth.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 4+ years of product management experience, preferably in the lighting industry.
  • Proven experience working in the architectural specification market.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep familiarity with lighting industry sales channels, key influencers, and decision-makers.
  • Direct knowledge of Mark Architectural Lighting products and competitors
  • Strong understanding of linear systems and architectural ambient lighting products.
  • Strong relationships within the lighting design community.

Travel

  • 1-20%

 

 

The range for this position is $84,500.00 to $152,100.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
