Join Acuity as a Senior Product Manager for FP&A and lead the development and execution of the company-wide FP&A technology roadmap. This includes Corporate (AYI), Acuity Brands Lighting (ABL), and Acuity Intelligent Spaces (AIS), with OneStream as the foundational platform.
We’re seeking a strategic, results-driven leader to shape the future of our FP&A systems and reporting. This role will own the FP&A product strategy and delivery, ensuring management reporting is consistent across the enterprise while still meeting the unique needs of each business segment. If you have deep experience in FP&A systems, executive reporting, and cross-functional leadership, this is your opportunity to drive high-impact outcomes at scale.
Ideal candidate for this role will reside in the Atlanta, GA area. Montly travel will be required if not local to Atlanta area.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- FP&A Product Strategy: Own the end-to-end FP&A product roadmap, with OneStream as the primary platform. Align the roadmap with the priorities of Corporate, ABL, and AIS.
- OneStream Product Ownership: Lead enhancements, configuration, and scaling of OneStream as the central FP&A and reporting platform. Drive adoption and maturity of the platform across AYI.
- Management Reporting Consistency: Ensure that enterprise-wide reporting is standardized, accurate, and timely—while also allowing for segment-specific flexibility where appropriate.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Serve as the voice of the business across multiple stakeholder groups, including Finance leadership, IT, and segment-level users. Translate business goals into technical requirements and development priorities.
- Data Analytics Enablement: Collaborate with engineering and data teams to define and prioritize data analytics requirements that support FP&A objectives across all reporting platforms (e.g., OneStream, Power BI, Oracle Fusion, o9).
- Cross-Functional Delivery: Partner closely with segment FP&A, Corporate Finance, and technical teams to deliver value incrementally. Define epics, user stories, and sprint priorities for agile teams.
- User Enablement & Change Management: Develop training plans, champion adoption, and lead change management across user groups to maximize the value of FP&A tools and data.
- Metrics & Performance Tracking: Define and track KPIs related to reporting timeliness, forecast accuracy, and user satisfaction.
To Be Successful in This Role
Success in this role requires a deep understanding of finance data management, a strategic mindset, and the ability to drive large-scale data initiatives.
- Expertise in FP&A Processes: Deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting (including scenario and drivers based), variance analysis, and management reporting.
- Product Management Acumen: Demonstrated ability to define and drive complex product roadmaps that align to both enterprise and segment-level needs.
- Systems Fluency: Hands-on experience with OneStream is required. Experience with Power BI, Oracle Fusion, Oracle EBS, and Azure Data Lake is strongly preferred.
- Strategic Mindset, Operational Focus: Ability to think big while solving real-world finance problems. Balance long-term architecture goals with short-term business needs.
- Strong Communication Skills: Can communicate with finance executives, technical teams, and end users with equal ease.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Comfortable managing shifting priorities and ambiguous problems.
Skills and Minimum Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A systems, financial reporting, or financial systems product management
- Direct experience with OneStream (design, implementation, or administration)
- Proven track record of delivering cross-functional technology projects
- Strong understanding of planning cycles, corporate finance operations, and data governance
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with Power BI for dashboarding and visualization
- Experience with Oracle Fusion and/or Oracle EBS in a reporting or integration context
- Experience with data architecture or reporting integrations in Azure Data Lake
- MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
Travel Requirements
- 1-20%
