Job Summary

We are seeking a senior product leader to define and scale a compelling cloud application portfolio that accelerates edge driven sales growth across Acuity Intelligent Spaces (AIS). This role owns the enterprise cloud application strategy—aligning edge systems, data, and software into differentiated customer value propositions that drive adoption, attach, and recurring revenue.

 

This leader operates at the intersection of portfolio strategy, GTM influence, and executive alignment, building consensus across AIS businesses to prioritize, package, and monetize cloud applications that amplify the value of our edge platforms. Success requires strong strategic judgment, credibility with senior leaders, and the ability to translate cross portfolio ambition into focused, high impact execution.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Enterprise Cloud Strategy

Define and own the AIS cloud application strategy, explicitly tied to edge differentiation, sales attach, and customer lifecycle expansion.

Establish a clear point of view on where cloud drives revenue leverage versus platform enablement.

 

Portfolio & AIS Alignment

Drive alignment across Atrius, Distech, and Q Sys on priority use cases, application investments, and monetization models.

Build executive consensus on tradeoffs, sequencing, and shared outcomes across AIS.

 

Growth & Monetization Leadership

Shape pricing, packaging, and commercial motions that accelerate edge adoption through cloud applications.

Partner with Sales and GTM leaders to ensure cloud applications are easy to sell, easy to attach, and clearly differentiated.

 

Executive & Market Leadership

Serve as a senior voice for AIS cloud strategy with executives, key customers, and partners.

Translate market insight into focused strategic bets, not broad experimentation.

 

Team & Influence Leadership

Lead and mentor a high-performing team of product managers focused on portfolio clarity, leverage, and execution discipline.

Influence without direct control across engineering, GTM, and business units.

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles overseeing SaaS, cloud platforms, or enterprise software.
  • Proven success building and scaling SaaS offerings, including monetization strategy, PLG adoption, and cross‑portfolio platform alignment.
  • Deep understanding of cloud architectures, APIs, data interoperability, modern integration patterns, and platform ecosystems.
  • Experience working across multiple business units or product lines to drive unified strategies and shared execution plans.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and executive influence skills.
  • Expertise in agile product development and working closely with engineering teams to deliver with velocity and quality.
  • Background in IoT, smart buildings, controls, enterprise cloud platforms, or operational data ecosystems strongly preferred.

The range for this position is $192,100.00 to $414,900.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
