Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

•    Lead and manage a high-performing software engineering organization across onshore and offshore teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
•    Own the architecture and end-to-end delivery of enterprise commerce and digital experience platforms – ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with product and business objectives.
•    Drive modernization of commerce and digital ecosystems, including migration to cloud-native, microservices, and API-first architectures.
•    Provide architectural direction and technical oversight across commerce, product data, and analytics platforms.
•    Partner closely with data engineering teams to design and implement data pipelines, APIs, and event-driven architectures that power commerce, personalization, and analytics capabilities.

•    Integrate enterprise systems such as PIM, PLM, ERP, and MDM with commerce and digital platforms, ensuring consistency and traceability across the product lifecycle.
•    Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to operationalize data for digital commerce — including pricing intelligence, personalization, and catalog optimization.
•    Implement DevOps best practices using Azure DevOps (ADO) for CI/CD automation, infrastructure-as-code (ARM/Bicep), and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes).
•    Drive performance monitoring and observability through Grafana, ElasticSearch, Power BI, or Azure Monitor for transparency and reliability.
•    Enforce software engineering standards, code quality, and governance practices across distributed teams.
•    Collaborate with Product Management and Enterprise Architecture to define technical roadmaps, align resources, and ensure delivery predictability.
•    Explore and apply Generative AI and data-driven approaches to enhance digital commerce experiences, attribute generation, and customer engagement.
•    Coach, mentor, and grow engineering talent, developing leadership depth and technical capability across the team.

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

•    8+ years of experience leading software engineering teams, including managing onshore/offshore models in a global enterprise environment.
•    6+ years of hands-on software development and architecture experience, with emphasis on commerce platforms, digital experiences, and product data ecosystems.
•    Strong programming experience in .NET, .NET Core, and Python, including RESTful API and microservices development.
•    Deep understanding of data engineering concepts (data pipelines, streaming, event-driven design, and API-based data services).
•    Proven experience collaborating with data engineering and analytics teams to design and implement data-driven solutions.
•    Demonstrated success integrating enterprise systems like PIM, PLM, ERP, and MDM with digital commerce platforms.
•    Solid experience with Azure Cloud, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps automation using Azure DevOps.
•    Strong background in Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies, sprint planning, and engineering execution at scale.
