Job Summary
This role will lead the development and execution of a common component architecture across the organization, driving strategic initiatives that unlock value through part consolidation. By enhancing sourcing capabilities and standardizing tools, processes, and templates, the role will enable more effective sourcing strategies and foster cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will identify opportunities to reduce complexity, streamline product platforms, and deliver measurable value through simplification and harmonization efforts.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Standardization & Execution: Develop standardized approaches and toolkits to ensure consistent execution across the organization, driving measurable value creation.
- Common Component Collaboration: Lead workshops with engineering and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for part consolidation and product platforming, aiming to reduce complexity and improve efficiency.
- Capability Development: Design and implement best-in-class sourcing tools, processes, and templates to strengthen team performance.
- Strategic Enablement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine sourcing strategies and tactics that align with business goals.
- Roadmap Creation: Partner with process owners to build actionable roadmaps for platforming and simplification initiatives.
Skills and Minimum Experience Required
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.
- 5+ years within a sourcing direct materials with heavy collaboration with engineering
- Proven experience managing change initiatives involving cross-functional sourcing and engineering teams, particularly in relation to technical requirements, engineering specifications, and component-level technical attributes.
- Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management systems and processes
- Understanding and strong experience in strategic sourcing
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence and work in a highly cross functional space
- Experience leading and coaching sourcing professionals
- Proficient in MS Excel, preferred experience with Windchill and Power BI
- Sourcing experience with different commodities.
Travel Requirements
Up to 25% Domestic and Internationally.

The range for this position is $100,700.00 to $181,200.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
