Job Summary

At Acuity, you will join an Agile team focused on building and supporting advanced platforms and applications that drive our business forward.

We are looking for passionate and driven DevOps contributors to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer on the AI Commerce team, you will help architect, automate, and optimize the infrastructure and delivery pipelines that power our AI-driven solutions. You’ll collaborate with a cross functional team to enable rapid, secure, and reliable delivery of innovative products.

This role offers the chance to shape the future of AI commerce by ensuring our platforms are secure, scalable, and efficient. You will contribute to platform improvements, support key initiatives, and make a meaningful impact within a global leader in industrial technology.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support the development, testing, and deployment of AI-driven applications.
  • Collaborate with engineering, QA, and data teams to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient delivery of software and services.
  • Promote DevOps and security best practices, automation, and continuous improvement across the team.
  • Monitor, document, and optimize infrastructure, processes, and workflows, staying current with emerging trends and tools in DevOps and cloud technologies.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years in a software development environment, with at least 3 years in DevOps, Platform, and/or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Programming and scripting skills in Python, with experience in automation and infrastructure tooling.
  • Deep experience with CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
  • Proven expertise with major cloud providers, with preference for Azure.
  • Strong background in Linux and familiarity with development workflows and tooling.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm, Kustomize, Kyverno, CNI, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code eg Bicep (preferred), Terraform, Ansible, etc.
  • Familiarity with security best practices for CI/CD pipelines, container security, and secrets management.
  • Experience integrating automated testing and security scanning (Snyk, Bandit) into DevOps workflows.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging stacks, including Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across Agile, cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with collaboration and documentation tools (JIRA, Confluence, Miro, Teams).

Nice to have:

  • Experience supporting AI and ML workloads, data pipelines, and Python-based applications in production.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale CI/CD for microservice-based cloud applications.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture and secure software development practices.
