Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Acuity Ireland team! As the first local HR team member, you will join the initial startup and serve as the HR lead and talent partner to a growing technology innovation center. You will play a critical role in enabling the talent strategy & building a site culture. You will lead and oversee our end-to-end talent acquisition lifecycle—including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and workforce development—while ensuring HR operations run efficiently and align with business goals. You will partner cross functionally across the Business and HR to co-design and implement scalable HR processes, tools and frameworks to support local talent strategies while ensuring a compliant, consistent and positive associate experience.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Lead and manage talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent
- Partner with leadership to develop workforce plans and talent pipelines aligned with business objectives
- Actively engage in the local community and partner with relevant universities, institutions and community organizations
- Establish, support & promote Acuity brand awareness, build relationships, and assist in building a pipeline of talent
- In partnership with global HR COE’s, oversee local HR operational functions including systems, reporting, compliance, and process optimization. This will include co-development and creation of new processes and toolkits in support of the associate experience
- Drive employee engagement, career development & workforce development initiatives
- Monitor HR metrics and analytics to inform strategic decisions and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure local policies and procedures are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements
- Culture Champion - embed our values into HR strategies and organizational culture
Skills and Minimum Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus on recruiting, talent management and HR operations
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders across a highly matrixed & global team
- Strong knowledge of HR systems (SAP) and data analytics
- Industry experience in high-tech and/or software development
- Experience with start-up environments and/or acquisitions and integrations
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, change management and organizational skills
