Job Summary

The Senior Supply Chain Analyst – Demand, Supply, Inventory, and Procurement Planning is responsible for driving end‑to‑end planning insights across demand, supply, inventory, and procurement through advanced analytics, business intelligence, and cross‑functional collaboration. This role plays a critical part in enabling data‑driven decision‑making by designing and maintaining metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and control towers using modern BI and data warehousing tools.In addition to core planning analytics, this role will own and manage the internal Product End‑of‑Life (EOL) planning process, overseeing customer notification timelines, last‑buy strategies, and inventory exit plans to minimize excess and obsolescence risk.The position partners closely with Product Management, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Sales, Sales Operations, Strategic Purchasing, Manufacturing, Logistics, IT, and Finance to improve forecast accuracy, inventory health, service levels, and working capital performance across global operations

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Business Intelligence, KPIs, and Control Towers (Key Requirement)
Design, build, and continuously improve metrics, measures, KPIs, dashboards, and control towers using BI and data warehousing tools such as Microsoft BI (Power BI) and Qlik Sense (CLK Sense).  Partner with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data integrity, scalable data models, and alignment between source systems (ERP, planning tools, WMS, etc.) and BI outputs.  Own and publish daily, weekly, and monthly planning KPIs including (but not limited to), inventory value, turns, and weeks of supply, excess and obsolete inventory, forecast accuracy and bias, service level and fill rate performance, inventory targets by business unit, product line, lifecycle stage (New, Sustaining, EOL).  Ensure dashboards and control towers are action‑oriented, intuitive, and trusted by stakeholders across the organization.

Demand, Supply, and Inventory Planning Analytics
Develop and maintain integrated demand, supply, and inventory metrics to support S&OP / IBP and executive decision‑making.  Analyze demand signals, supply constraints, and inventory positions to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.  Monitor inventory levels globally and proactively highlight risks related to stock‑outs, excess, aging, and obsolescence, working with supply and demand planning teams on mitigation strategies.  Support inventory optimization initiatives including target stocking strategies, safety stock reviews, redeployment opportunities, and service‑level trade‑off analysis.

Inventory Management & ERP Enablement
Manage and report on inventory excess and obsolescence, inventory projections, inventory turns, and other key inventory performance indicators.  Assist in monitoring and optimizing ERP planning system master data, including safety stock parameters, lead times, order modifiers, lot sizes, and item attributes to improve planning outcomes.  Support DRP (Distribution Requirements Planning) activities using ERP tools or analytical models to align inventory with sales plans and target stocking levels.  Work with distribution centers and logistics teams to track shipping performance, perform root‑cause analysis for misses, and support corrective action plans.

Product End‑of‑Life (EOL) Planning Ownership
Serve as the process owner for internal product EOL planning, coordinating across Product Management, Sales, Supply Planning, and Operations.  Oversee customer notification timelines, last‑buy dates, and inventory exit strategies to minimize excess, scrap, and write‑offs.  Develop EOL inventory strategies, scenario analyses, and financial risk assessments based on demand run‑out, aging, and exposure.  Track and report EOL performance metrics and risks to leadership.

Cross‑Functional Leadership & Communication
Work closely with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Sales, Sales Operations, Strategic Purchasing, and Finance to align on targets, assumptions, and trade‑offs.  Provide inventory, demand, and supply insights and commentary for monthly S&OP / IBP presentations, including notable changes, risks, and mitigation actions.  Act as a thought partner to management by translating complex data into clear, actionable business insights. Lead and support moderately complex analytical projects, system enhancements, and process improvements as needed.

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

  • Experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Analytics, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.           
  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, or supply chain analytics.            
  • Strong experience creating metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and analytical models for executive and operational use.            
  • Hands‑on experience with Business Intelligence and data warehousing tools, such as Microsoft BI (Power BI) and Qlik Sense (CLK Sense).            
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data storytelling skills.            
  • Advanced PC skills and Microsoft Office a must            
  • Excellent communication (written/verbal) and presentation skills        
  • Associate’s Degree or Technical Degree or equivalent

The range for this position is $83,300.00  to $164,400.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
