This position requires on-site presence in Decatur, GA, following a hybrid work model.

Job Summary

Our products, your drive! The eldoLED firmware team specifies, designs, implements, and maintains a suite of multiplatform LED driver controls relating to a comprehensive tooling chain. These tools interfaces with firmware building blocks that relate to power conversion, voltage & current modulation, communication protocols (DMX/RDM, DALI, Bluetooth, NFC, proprietary), sensors, battery backup systems, color tuning etc. The ever-expanding set of features serves a variety of users increasingly demanding smart solutions and flexibility in their deployments.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Minimum of a master’s degree in computer science or equivalent by experience.
Minimum of 8 years Agile firmware development experience.
Experience in both low level hardware control and high level RTOS development on ARM.
Dev-ops has no secrets, you can tailor to the teams needs and reporting.
Eager learner (Acuity PDS processes) with a hands-on and challenging attitude.
Pro-active result-oriented team player with leadership skills empowering teammates, able to act as sounding board.

Strong communication skills in English, Dutch brings an advantage.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Sr/Ld firmware developer background, with experience in hardware interaction.
Experience with unit testing frameworks.
Experience with modern software build environments (eg. versioning systems, regression test suites, automated builds).
Experience with product -owner and/or -manager roles.
Experience working with globally located development teams.
Task switcher, working on several projects and features in parallel whilst nurturing the stakeholder relations.

The range for this position is $150,900.00 to $271,600.00 USD. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
