Job Summary

Responsible for being the single point of contact for Acuity Sales team on Requests for Bid from nationally scoped customers. Responsibilities may be, but not limited to: independent judgements on product selection, autonomy in assessing application and generating quote, translating the customers needs to Product and Engineering teams for modifications or new designs and creating and managing the submittal packages for a timely bid. Candidate should have technical aplitude, high level of multitasking ability while maintaining details and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly interfaces with agents and channel partners to research and make independent determinations of product and application needs.
  • Develop BOM/quote for customer based on those determinations.
  • Coordinates with engineering & design teams on the feasibility of MEZ requests, pre-order submittals, cross-section drawings, controls layouts, photometric files, RFWD and samples as needed.
  • Works cross functionally with Project Managers, Product Managers, Engineers, AQD(Acuity Quotes Department) and Application Support.
  • Responsible for MEZ pricing including coordination with engineering, AQD and vendors as needed.
  • Coordinates with engineering to ensure samples and final products are built to spec.
  • Coordinates with regional Project Managers and Application Engineers on complex and/or large projects where MEZ's are involved and for competitive crossovers.

ABS-Lean Initiatives:

  • Use Acuity Business System (ABS) Tools daily for individual and departmental metrics.
  • Use Lean and ABS Tools to identify opportunities within daily work and process improvement events.

Minimum Required

  • Bachelor's degree in administration or any engineering field. 
  • 1–3 years of experience in customer service, technical support, service industries.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Salesforce experience (preferred)
  • Strong customer experience mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced English Level.
