Job Summary

The Manufacturing Software System Engineer is responsible for the development, maintenance, and improvement of software solutions focused on automation, control, and traceability of manufacturing processes. This role emphasizes efficiency, technological integration, and continuous improvement within the manufacturing environment. The engineer possesses intermediate technical knowledge, works independently, and collaborates on medium to high-impact projects, always adhering to quality standards and software engineering best practices.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Analyze, design, develop, and debug software solutions for plant control and automation.

Participate in agile development teams with minimal supervision.

Coordinate tasks, deliverables, and project timelines, providing timely progress reports.

Identify continuous improvement opportunities in processes and systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define requirements and propose viable technical solutions.

Escalate technical issues and communicate project status to leaders and internal/external clients.

Apply development best practices and lead technology initiatives within the team.

Contribute to personal professional growth and promote innovation in technical solutions.

Experiencia mínima requerida

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related field.

Experience: 3–5 years of experience in similar roles within manufacturing and systems development environments.

English: Intermediate to advanced proficiency.
