Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of regular and special payrolls, including severance calculations, while maintaining legal compliance with labor and tax regulations. Acts as liaison with the payroll provider, supports employee inquiries, and manages personnel files and benefits
Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Process and review regular and special payrolls, including severance payments, in compliance with labor laws

Validate payroll calculations from external provider and ensure accurate payments

Ensure legal compliance with IMSS, Infonavit, Fonacot, alimony deductions, and tax obligations

Manage employee records and individual employment contracts

Address employee questions regarding payments, pay slips, employment letters, and benefits

Coordinate enrollment in medical and life insurance, and distribute payroll cards and bank accounts

Oversee pre-payroll processes: incidents, deductions, loans, bonuses, union fees, remote work payments

Operate time and attendance systems: sick leave entries, payroll period closures, hour banks

Resolve payroll issues and recommend improvements in calculation and processing

Execute special payments: profit sharing (PTU), year-end bonus, vacation premium, savings fund, tax adjustments

Participate in payroll-related projects, system testing, and operational requests
Skills
Skills and Minimum Experience Required
- Bachelor´s Degree completed
- English skills : intermediate

3 to 5 years of experience in:
-
Mexican payroll processes (weekly, biweekly, every 14 days)

Severance calculations and payroll for 1,000+ employees

Labor law: LFT, IMSS, SUA, Infonavit, Fonacot

Payroll and timekeeping systems (preferably SAP)
