Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Project Manager to lead our Electronics Controls/Drivers/Emergency product development projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and driving the planning, execution, and delivery of assigned Electronics projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders. This will enable us to accelerate Electronics growth, velocity and productivity!

Key Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans/schedules, track progress, and manage day-to-day project activities
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including product, sourcing, manufacturing, and engineering to ensure alignment and timely execution of project activities
  • Support the implementation of Agile and Waterfall methodologies within project teams
  • Lead Project Team in developing project risk registers and monitor project risks and issues, escalating concerns as needed
  • Facilitate regular team meetings and status updates to ensure transparency and accountability
  • Ensure adherence to project management processes, phase gates, and documentation standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support KPI tracking and reporting
  • Manage expectations properly and timely escalate deviations, risk and quality concerns in a constructive, solution-driven manner
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, milestones, and any changes to the project plan
  • Understands power electronics and software development to a level that you can lead and challenge the team
  • Drive KPI compliance in the teams, including but not limited to phase gate compliance, productivity improvement, and zero quality (design) defect

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronics, engineering, or a related field or minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an electronics manufacturing environment
  • Experience with project management in electronics or software manufacturing
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in an electronics or manufacturing environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with product development life cycles and project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall) 
  • Strong understanding product development
  • Understand how important is to build connections
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and task simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Knowledge of project management tools and software

 

Preferred:

  • PMP, CAPM, or Scrum Master certification
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams 
  • Knowledge of product development life cycle and design methodologies
  • Knowledge of electronics and software development processes

Travel requirements

Up to 5-10%, preferred
