Job Summary

 

We are looking for a finance professional to lead financial activities at our manufacturing facility in Matamoros. This role partners closely with plant operations to improve financial acumen and drive performance. Responsibilities include month-end close, financial reporting and analysis, KPI tracking, and supporting operational decision-making.

 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

 

  • Guide plant leadership on financial impact of operational decisions

  • Respond to ad hoc financial requests from the team

  • Prepare and review KPIs and financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual)

  • Oversee financial close process and account reconciliations

  • Conduct financial analysis and prepare annual targets

  • Participate in daily/weekly operations meetings

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in finance

  • Manufacturing/maquiladora experience (3+ years preferred)

  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills

  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools

  • Cost accounting knowledge

  • Fluent English (written and verbal, >80%)

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

  • Willingness to work daily on the shop floor
