Job Summary

The Stock & Flow Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales function of the organization’s in-stock product portfolio. This role oversees the development and execution of sales strategies, ensures alignment with business objectives, and drives revenue growth through effective management of client relationships and sales teams. The incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional departments to optimize stock levels, support business continuity, and deliver superior customer experience.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve short- and long-term revenue objectives for the Stock & Flow product lines.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the agency network and direct sales team to ensure achievement of individual and departmental goals.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and business partners.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, product, and operations teams to maintain optimal stock levels and meet market demand.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activity to inform business strategies and decision-making.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports and forecasts to senior leadership.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements in alignment with company policies and profitability targets.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of sales promotions, campaigns, and other initiatives designed to drive stock & flow turnover.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, legal regulations, and ethical business practices.

Education (minimum education required)

Bachelor of Business Administration

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive sales management experience, preferably within stock-driven industries in the electrical business such as retail, wholesale, manufacturing, or distribution.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and developing high-performing sales teams
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in the use of CRM and other sales management software systems.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence senior stakeholders.
