Job Summary

The Learning Facilitator is responsible for delivering instructor-led learning events in their area. This role involves deploying and executing the strategies defined in collaboration with the Learning team, ensuring the success of sessions, and assisting the deployment of Distech Academy in the UK and Europe.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Training Deployment and Execution:

  • Apply the global learning strategies defined with the Learning team within the UK and Europe region.
  • Contribute to alignment of training programs with the organisation’s goals and regional business objectives.
  • Manage the delivery and continuous improvement of learning programs for English-speaking system integrators (especially UK) and internal employees
  • Contribute to build and maintain learning content and equipment that is relevant, up-to-date and adapted to the specific needs of the region (especially UK)
  • Use various modalities (instructor-led, online, hybrid) to deliver effective and engaging learning experiences.

Distech Academy Deployment:

  • Contribute to the deployment and growth of Distech Academy in the UK
  • Contribute to the Learning Portal content creation to offer a complete on-boarding and learning experience to associates and customers.
  • Partner with 3rd party vendors when appropriate
  • Follow the requirements and processes of Learning Center certifications.

 

Engagement with Educational Institutions (UK):

  • In accordance with global strategy, establish, facilitate and maintain partnerships with technical schools and other educational institutions in the region.
  • Facilitate programs that integrate the organisation’s products into their curricula, providing students with hands-on experience.
  • Promote the use of the company’s products as training resources to prepare the next generation of professionals.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with product managers, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure training content is accurate and comprehensive
  • Work with regional sales managers (UK) to tailor and deploy training solutions that address specific regional needs and compliance requirements.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Assets

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in one or more of the following fields:
    -Niagara platforms
    -Building Automation
    -Instrumentation and Controls
    -Information Systems and Programming
    -Process Control

 

  • Perfect level of English required, French is a plus
  • Knowledge of the BACnet, IP, Modbus, or other Control Systems Communication protocols.
