Job Summary

Acuity is embarking on an enterprise transformation to reimagine our end-to-end business processes — enabling multi-national growth, scaling our hardware + software + services model, and seamlessly integrating new acquisitions. This initiative is a fundamental redesign of our business processes to drive automation, speed, data-driven decision-making, and operational excellence across Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations. AI will be a critical accelerator, unlocking new capabilities and rethinking workflows to leapfrog traditional best practices. A core component of this modernization includes consolidating multiple legacy, on-premise platforms into Oracle Fusion Cloud, integrating with a broad portfolio of boundary applications to enable a streamlined connected end to end processes, establishing a scalable / compliant / AI-ready foundation for the future. We are seeking leaders and experts with experience transforming business processes, applying AI to enterprise workflows, and delivering complex Oracle Fusion migrations at global scale. 

Acuity is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the technical architecture, delivery, and operational excellence of our Oracle Fusion Applications ecosystem. This includes major functional domains such as Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Plan-to-Manufacture, Acquire-to-Retire. 

This role oversees the engineering roadmap, scalable cloud architecture, integration modernization, identity & access management, platform optimization, and the reliable operation of Oracle Fusion across the enterprise. The Director will lead technical platforms across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). 

The Director partners closely with Product Management, Cyber Security, and other Engineering teams to deliver a secure, high-performing, and scalable enterprise platform. This is a high-impact leadership role driving connected, intelligent, and compliant business operations across Acuity. 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Platform Engineering & Architecture Leadership 

  • Own the end-to-end technical architecture across Oracle Fusion Applications supporting Finance and Supply Chain. 
  • Design scalable and secure cloud architectures on OCI, including networking, security zones, observability, workload automation, and high-availability patterns. 
  • Establish technical governance covering OIC, PaaS, data integrations, extensions, custom objects, and the Oracle Object Library. 
  • Drive architectural strategy for enterprise financial processes such as period close, intercompany, approvals, auditability, and compliance. 

Oracle Fusion Platform Ownership 

  • Lead engineering teams responsible for enhancements, integrations, data flows, and reliability across all Fusion Finance and SCM modules. 
  • Ensure platform consistency in master data, workflows, and cross-functional configuration dependencies. 

Identity, Access & Security Governance 

  • Own IAM/IDCS strategy for Fusion Apps, OCI, integrations, and PaaS workloads. 
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit controls across Finance and Supply Chain processes (SoD, ITGC, least-privilege design). 
  • Manage secure API access, tokenization, MFA, role provisioning, and identity federation. 

Engineering Delivery & Execution 

  • Lead engineering sprints, technical builds, code validation, and QA across all functional modules. 
  • Establish DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for configuration migration, integration deployment, and PaaS workloads. 
  • Oversee SIT/UAT cycles, regression testing, and production readiness. 

Data, Reporting & Analytics Enablement 

  • Partner with Data Engineering to build consistent data models across Finance and SCM. 
  • Improve data quality, governance, and reconciliation across the enterprise data lake and Fusion data pipelines. 
  • Enable real-time dashboards and KPIs for finance, supply chain, and operational performance. 

Team Leadership 

  • Lead and mentor engineering teams supporting Fusion Applications, OCI, Identity/IAM, OIC Integrations, PaaS Applications, and QA resources. 
  • Create a culture of technical excellence, accountability, continuous learning, and innovation. 
  • Develop long-term career paths and technical leadership capabilities. 

Education (minimum education required)

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Engineering Management

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

  • 12+ years leading enterprise application engineering, including ERP/cloud platforms. 
  • 3+ years managing engineering, architecture, or integrations teams. 
  • Hands-on experience with:  
    • Oracle Fusion Apps (Finance + SCM) 
    • OCI 
    • OIC 
    • IAM/IDCS 
    • PaaS & Object Library 
  • Experience with ERP modernization or large-scale cloud transformation programs.

  • Oracle Fusion Applications – Finance & Supply Chain

  • Oracle Identity Management (IAM/IDCS) 
  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) 
  • Oracle Object Library (OOL) 
  • Oracle PaaS (VBCS, APEX, custom services, logging/monitoring) 

Knowledge across: 

  • FBDI, ADFdi, REST/SOAP APIs 
  • Extensions, workflows, and orchestration 
  • Data modeling and reconciliation best practices 
  • Embedded and built Agentic AI within Oracle Fusion  

Functional Expertise Across Finance & Supply Chain 

Good understanding of: 

  • Finance: GL, AP, AR, CM, FA, TAX 
  • Supply Chain: OM, PO, INV, WMS, MFG 

Ability to translate functional gaps into scalable technical solutions. 

Leadership & Delivery 

  • Proven track record leading engineering/architecture teams in Oracle SaaS transformation programs. Large complex program delivery experience working with global teams is a plus.  
  • Strong decision-making abilities in high-complexity, high-impact environments.

The range for this position is $175,000 to $312,000. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
