Job Summary
Responsible for coordinating all functions of a Focus Factory, including New Product Introduction (NPI), Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation, In-sourcing, Customer Satisfaction, Employee Satisfaction, Employee Performance, and Supply Chain Performance. Partners with the Value Stream Leader to drive profitable growth across the value stream. This role generally supports a multi-site Focus Factory or has responsibility for a Focus Factory location, typically supporting backshop operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead safety and environmental initiatives within the Focus Factory to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
- Drive quality performance across incoming supplier quality, internal manufacturing processes, and finished goods to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Achieve delivery performance targets of 95% or greater while reducing customer lead times.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve operational performance across the value stream.
- Serve as the Acuity Business System (ABS) leader by utilizing and mentoring others on Lean manufacturing tools, including Kanban, Standard Work, 5S, SMED, TPM, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Continuously identify and implement innovative solutions to improve manufacturing processes and operational efficiency.
- Partner with the Value Stream Leader to execute strategic initiatives that support business growth and operational excellence.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 6–8 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or operations leadership.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership skills with experience influencing stakeholders, developing high-performing teams, driving employee engagement, and leading organizational change.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies, including Kanban, Standard Work, 5S, SMED, TPM, and related tools.
